Meet the artist behind the studio
Hi, I’m Stephanie- the seamstress, pattern-drafter, & fabric whisperer behind Threadful Things.
I learned to sew as a kid & fell in love with the way textiles can reimagine a space. Eventually, I converted a small, spare room hobby into this cozy, detail-obsessed workroom you see today.
After years of tinkering with patterns, sewing up my own clothing designs, & altering hundreds of bridal gowns, I realized what I love most is helping people tell the story of their home through textiles.
Today, Threadful Things is a one-woman, fully custom workroom.
Every project starts with a conversation, your dream Pinterest board, & a stack of swatches! I mix quirky patterns, earthy neutrals, & mid-century modern lines to create spaces that feel lived-in, loved, & just a tiny bit unexpected.
If you‘re looking for off-the-rack, this isn’t the place, but if you want thoughtful, bespoke pieces made with care & a dash of playful creativity, you’re in the right studio!
For Designer’s & Homeowner’s
Designer’s
Think of this studio as your detail-obsessed soft-goods partner. I collaborate with designer’s on workroom-ready specs, yardage estimates, & fabrication details.
I accept COM fabrics, value existing project standard’s, & work around tight install timelines when possible.
If you have a unique concept or a challenging piece, I’m especially excited to help bring your vision to life!
Homeowner’s
You don’t need to speak “designer” to work with a custom workroom. I’ll walk you through fabric choices, lining options, & all the little decisions so your finished pieces feel just right for your home & your budget.
Whether you’re refreshing a single room or slowly updating a whole house, we can tackle your projects one thoughtful layer at a time!

I’d love to help you dream up something wonderfully “you”.

Thoughtful, Low-Waste Giveback’s
Textiles are beautiful, but they can also be wasteful. I always plan pattern’s & cutting layout’s carefully to use fabric efficiently & minimize off-cuts.
I aim to extend the life of textiles & inserts you already own when it makes sense. However there’s still usable remnant’s leftover.
You own your materials. You may always keep your leftovers, but if you’d like to donate any scraps or remnant’s to the studio for repairing unclaimed furniture donation’s, it is always welcomed.
Tales of Threadful Things mission is to vocalize awareness around waste produced in the industry.
I aim lower the amount of furniture & fabric contributing to our landfills whenever possible by salvaging existing furniture frames, repurposing remnants of all sizes into smaller accents like pillows, trim details, or sample sets.
The goal is to create pieces we all will keep for years, not seasons.
Have remnant’s to donate?
